A2:Students can find any instructor under the course regulations for research projects in the departments at the undergraduate level. |
Q3:What is the difference between Capstone project and practical project? |
A3:The Capstone project requires three 3rd year students from different departments to form a team advised by a faculty member. The project involves interdisciplinary learning and competition at the end of the semester. Participating in the competition offers the opportunity to gain honor and rewards, with the aim of encouraging students to participate in interdisciplinary communication and learning. |
Q4:Is the 4+1 program applicable to the Interdisciplinary Practical Elite Program? |
A4:The main purpose of establishing the 4+1 program is to encourage bachelor's degree holders to continue their research at the university with more specialized knowledge. The 4+1 program is applicable to students in the Interdisciplinary Practical Elite Program. |
Q5:Does the Interdisciplinary Practical Elite Program (IPEP) offer internship opportunities? |
A5:IPEP offers 30 work-study internship positions available every year. |
Q6:Does Interdisciplinary Practical Elite Program provide tutoring services? |
A6:The program organizes after-school tutoring sessions for compulsory subjects, including general physics, general chemistry, and calculus. These sessions aim to assist first-year students in reviewing important scientific and mathematical topics. |
Q7:How do I apply for competition award scholarships? |
A7:Complete the off-campus competition award scholarship application form with the award certificate or other proof to the department office for application. |
Q8:Does the College of Environment and Resources provide any spaces or venues for reservation? |
A8:The college provides a 10-person meeting room (room 311-2). Students are welcome to apply at the college’s office. |
Q9:What are the graduation requirements of Interdisciplinary Practical Elite Program? |
A9:There is a minimum of 148 credits. (including 42 credits of university-required core courses, 45 credits of professional required courses, 30 credits of professional elective courses in selected module, 8 credits of general education courses, and 23 credits of other elective courses.) |
Q10:What are the eligibility for applying for the Cornerstone project in the College of Environmental Resources? |
A10:The college provides first-year students with the opportunity to independently read operation manuals, conduct experiments, analyze data, and complete reports under the guidance of instructors. This aims to cultivate students' ability to independently utilize basic equipment. |
Q11:Does the College of Environmental Resources provide English improvement courses? |
A11:The college provides English improvement courses once a year, and it also holds TOEIC test. The registration fee is NT$1,150. Students may also take TOEIC test held by other organizations anytime. |
